Behind most brand names is a story. The story of Le Bain Collection is the story of Cécile Destaing and her devotion to the bath as a ritual of cleansing and relaxation.

Unable to find the products she dreamed of, Cécile would invent them in her mind, until one day she put her thoughts into action. Combining her technical expertise - a PhD in Pharmacy - with the inspiration she took from the hills of Grasse where she lives and which has been the heart of the perfume industry for several generations, Cécile set to work.

She experimented with fragrances and flowers, such as the divine Grasse rose, delicate jasmine gathered at dawn and feathery mimosa, and combed the beach for its treasures, patiently developing Le Bain Collection.

The fruits of her labour pay homage to the beauty she wakes to each morning as the sun rises over Provence, the hills fragrant with thyme and lavender, the promise of the Mediterranean, nature at its most precious and indispensable... just like a bath.
